Jeff Mathews is a franchise growth leader with more than 25 years of experience in franchise development, sales strategy, and brand expansion. As SVP of Franchise Growth & Recruitment at GenDev, he leads with a clear mission: connect great people with great brands and build scalable systems that drive lasting growth.


Over the course of his career, Jeff has executed more than 1,000 franchise license placements across 20+ brands, including national expansion initiatives in the fitness sector for high-volume concepts. His approach blends strategic discipline with real-world relationship-building—guiding candidates through a thoughtful process that balances opportunity with long-term success.


Known for his grounded leadership style and results-driven mindset, Jeff’s background spans industries from hospitality and transportation to foodservice and operations, giving him a practical understanding of what it takes to run a business from the ground up.


Outside of work, Jeff is an adventurer at heart. He’s passionate about strength training, travel, and his family—often found on RV adventures with his wife of 35 years. Or on family adventures with his 4 children and 5 grandchildren. They are his fuel.
